Marrakesh by Design Day

Our Moroccan decorating and book signing event for the new book by Maryam Montague, Marrakesh by Design, was a magical day! Maryam, of My Marrakesh blog, wove a spellbinding tale of love, travel, style, and adventures in Moroccan design that was inspiring, insightful, and oh, so entertaining.

It was such a thrill for our guests to meet Maryam in person and get personalized signings of her beautifully written and artfully photographed new book, Marrakesh by Design.

We feasted on fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious Moroccan recipes and had our hands (or arms, or ankles) adorned with intricate henna tattoos.

To further celebrate the art of Moroccan design, our guests got the chance to use some of our Moroccan stencils that were originally designed to stencil at Peacock Pavilions to create glittering designs on colored file folders-and left with their own personalized set as well as a commemorative Peacock Feather stencil-and many magical memories of a beautifully spent day with Maryam.
