Artist and instructor Diane Corso has 15+ years creating, teaching and working as a professional to apply custom decorative finishes in high-end residential and commercial projects. Several years ago she discover raw mica and saw it’s potential to transform her finishes to an even higher level.
Now, she is sharing her knowledge and experience with fellow artisans. Raw mica comes in many shapes, sizes, and colors. This organic medium offers incredible creative NEW potential to decorative painting professionals, especially when combined with finishes and plasters that you are already familiar with.
Raw mica has a wide range of possibilities for decorative surface finishes including furniture, doors, accent walls, back splashes, fireplace surrounds, and more. It can also be used to create a one-of-a-kind base an a surface for additional finishes to be applied to.
