Excellent

Love how my project turned out! The area I stenciled was difficult, with many corners and doorways. This stencil was very forgiving and of good quality. I did end up buying two, so I could cut some pieces for narrow spots.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're so happy to hear that our Funky Fibers Wall Stencil worked well for your project, even in a challenging area. Our stencils are designed to be forgiving and of high quality, so we're glad that it met your expectations. We would love it if you would share a photo of your stencil project :)

Geometric Meets Organic Design

I used this in my eat in kitchen nook. I wanted something that felt graphic and geometric but wasn’t too angular. This perfectly fit the bill. I used a true blue color in top of a white base.
The stencils were a good quality and held up to frequent washing. Getting into corners and around the window sill was challenging. I wish I knew before I started that It’s easiest to start at the top with the ceiling stencil and then work the stencil down. That would have saved me lots of time and trouble.

Hi Ashley! Your kitchen nook sounds like the perfect patterned space now :) For future reference, be sure to check out our stenciling tutorials that show you where to place your first repeat: https://www.royaldesignstudio.com/blogs/stenciling-tips

Very happy

I painted an accent wall of our entryway white and used Annie Sloan graphite chalk paint for the stencil pattern. Love the end result! The dark chalk paint is thick and dries very quickly, which is great for this type of project but it does make the stencil need to be cleaned super often or it’s hard to get all of the pattern.

Our stencils are made from a thick and durable and easy to clean material that does need to be cleaned every few uses due to paint build up. You can check out our cleaning tutorial here: https://www.royaldesignstudio.com/blogs/stenciling-tips/clean-stencils-paint-brushes :)

beautiful stencil

I stenciled two accent walls in my living room / dining room using this stencil. For the background I used dark blue latex paint and then stenciled using the Royal Design Studios antique gold stencil cream. The effect is amazing. It's a very forgiving stencil pattern since there are so many small lines in it. My walls are not perfectly square or level so I used my level to make sure the stencil was level and then adjusted the positioning a little and you can't even tell where it didn't line up perfectly. Corners are really hard but not impossible. I followed the instructions and used painters tape on the wall I wasn't stenciling and it worked well. I also used painters tape on the ceiling and on my baseboard trim to make getting close to those surfaces easier. I can't wait for my next stenciling project!

So happy to hear you love your stenciled results! If you wish to share your project pics, we'd love to share them! Please email us at projects@royaldesignstudio.com :)

This Stencil is Great~

In an effort to hip up our 150 Victorian home, I stenciled the Funky Fibers in a pale gold over a background on cream. I started in with great vigor and got a bit carried away and did not clean the stencil as regularly as I should have. My advice - set aside enough time to complete your project and really, clean the stencil often. I am very pleased with the results. Thanks for helping me update my dining room!

Hello Carolyn! Thank so you much for sharing your tips. It is advised to use very minimal paint and offloading your tool any time you add more paint to avoid bleeding onto the other side of the stencil. Cleaning the stencil often will definitely minimize clean up time. Great tips! -Royal Design Studio
