Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. The key to successful stencil projects is to use a “dry” brush or roller that has been offloaded to remove the excess paint that can seep under the stencil. Are you ready to try stenciling?

I was happy with the stencil but would like to have small parts of the stencil available to purchase. The pattern was extremely difficult to get into corners with the large sheet of mylar.. Luckily my husband could make a small stencil out of some mylar we had that I could use in the corners. If it was just a flat feature wall it would have been easily done. This is a small powder bath and I had three corners to deal with. Two were a nightmare. The room will be beautiful when I get my fixtures installed and my big sun mirror.
The scale of the design is perfect. It's dazzling on a wall. It's turned my little bathroom into a magical space that I really love being in. Can't wait to do stencil more rooms! My only regret is that I wish I'd saved this particular stencil design for my master bedroom!
This was a very easy stencil to align and overlap. It clings well to the wall so no paint got underneath. I used the Royal stencil antique gold paint- it's really worth it to use these paints because they don't creep under like latex wall paints (I've done both and theirs makes it so much quicker) Love this wall so much. Will find another use for this amazing wall stencil
I fell in love with this stencil when I first saw it on the website. I had to have it! The blue and copper really spoke to me. I used the Royal Design Stupid copper stencil crème.
I did this stencil as an accent wall in my home office. It wasn't an easy stencil to use with all the points, especially on a textured wall but once I figured out how much paint to use on the stencil brush, it got easier. I ended up cutting the stencil almost in half to finish the wall next to the door, but it worked out. I did have to do some minor touchups with the blue to cover some of the messier stenciled areas, but that’s mostly because I’m a perfectionist.
All in all, this is a stunning wall! I love it so much!
