About Modello Designs

Modello Designs™  Revolutionizing the Art and the Business of Decorative Painting
Modello Designs, the original Decorative Masking Pattern™, was first introduced in the Fall of 2003. Since that time, Modello® patterns have succeeded in revolutionizing the application of surface decoration to walls, floors, ceilings, wood, furniture, glass, tile and concrete.

In five short years, the word Modello has become synonymous with the means and the method of transferring decorative designs onto a surface with aid of a one-time-use, adhesive-backed pattern. Literally thousands of decorative painting and decorative concrete contractors, interior design professionals and architectural specifiers have learned to rely on our Modello® patterns when they want to apply high quality, custom designs to their projects.

The original Modello® concept is brilliantly simple: an ornamental library of 1000’s of decorative patterns that can be easily custom-sized and cut to order from adhesive vinyl materials. The brainchild of Modello Designs President and Creative Director, Melanie Royals, the Modello® concept was created to answer a growing need in the field of surface decoration for sophisticated, custom patterns that could be produced in scales both small and grand, depending on specific project needs.
