Creative DIY’er Jen of Girl in the Garage loves our Lisboa Tile Stencil so much that she stenciled not one, but two table tops with it! The two best reasons to use our mylar stencils for your DIY home decorating needs is that they are reusable and can create a variety of styles! That’s endless ways and times that you can use a single stencil! Oh, the possibilities! Let’s take a look at how Jen used our Lisboa Tile Stencil to creative two completely different looks!

For her first stenciled table top, she wanted to go glam – the total opposite of how she found it at a thrift store. She used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Old White, Modern Masters metallic paint in Olympic Gold, and sealed the deal with MasterClear polyurethane.

For her second stenciled table top, she wanted to coordinate with the vintage shape of the piece by decorating it with the shabby chic style. She painted the table with a stone gray paint with a hint taupe. To make sure the a Lisboa Tile Stencil did not stand out much against the calming color, she painted the pattern with a mixture of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Old Ochre and Modern Masters silver metallic paint. After drying, Jen sanded the table to distress it and used both clear and dark wax to give it a worn and aged look.

Our Lisboa Tile Stencil gave these two tables a designer look as if it was styled by the trendy tastes of Rachel Ashwell or Jonathan Adler. Jen is impressed that she could get more bang for her buck by using 1 stencil in 2 different ways simply by  changing up the paint colors!
