Stencil of my dreams!

I’m still shocked at how easy this stencil was to use. My wall looks like wallpaper was professionally hung. I’m so proud and highly recommend!

My first time using a stencil! It was fairly easy to use but it did bleed through. Maybe user error or the paint? I'm leisurely going through and touching some spots up but overall I love the way it looks and way cheaper than wallpaper!

Your stencil project is super lovely! Bleed under can happen for a variety of reasons but as you say it's easy enough to touch up those areas. Thank you for sharing

Stencil brushes are for professionals

After watching videos, I bought foam roller and stencil brushes. I practiced on pieces of wall board which is what I was stenciling. It was a leaky, messy finish with the brushes. The foamy roller worked better but I found that, even after rolling excess paint off of it there was leakage behind the stencil. I ended up using a tiny painting brush to fix the worse spots where the paint ran together. From a distance, behind my bed, it looks ok but in my bathroom it is more noticeable. I painting my camper so I’m not looking for perfection but I don’t think I would do this in my house

Hello Brenda, we are sorry to hear that you didn't find success with the stencil brushes. It may be a matter of personal preference and everyong has a different working style.
