Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. I picked this stencil for its larger design for an accent wall in my dressing room. I used the Bronze, Gold and Smoked Oyster paints and it is truly stunning. It took over 12 hours of time so don't think this is a 2-hour project as advertised! The stencil held up pretty well. It had to be washed every 2 columns (or 12 designs). The stencil is very detailed and some of the smaller pieces had to be cut near the end of my project. Overall, I am highly satisfied!
Stencil is sturdier than I expected, even with others comments. It took a good scrubbing. Always be careful but even the stringy bits didn't rip or break.
