Shannon of Burlap and Lace recently refreshed the look of her guest bedroom using one of our stencils and some cool artifacts that she gathered from various different places. We are in LOVE with this project and wanted to share it with all you DIY’ers who are always on the look out to freshen things up around the house. This project is sure to spark some ideas for you to create fun projects around the house using stencils.
Shannon created a mood board to share with her readers before she actually started working on this room and called it ‘Palm Beach Prep’. She chose our Camel Bone Weave Stencil to stencil the feature wall because it slightly resembles bamboo, and ties in nicely with the Palm Beach look of the room that she was aiming for. She kept the accent wall white, and stenciled with a deep navy blue that looks beautiful and absolutely goes with the ‘Palm Beach’ theme of the room.
She fancied up the lamp shade simply by adding a blue ribbon on the top and bottom rims. She collected all the knick knacks for this room from places like Ross, a local thrift store and Habitat. She found the green campaign dresser through Facebook from a local fellow blogger who wanted to sell it.
