Picture frames are a great outlet for showing off your personality (and your personal life!), so how they are presented is important. You can customize your own with stencil pattern, paint color, and artistic finishes. Do you love the shabby chic look or are you more of a modern trendsetter? No matter your style, we’ve got you covered with beautiful stencils that coordinate with a variety of interiors, as well as Furniture Stencils and Craft Stencils that have a smaller scale pattern for your DIY picture frame projects. We know there’s a lot of styles to choose from, so here are some ideas from our talented customers with strong “frame game” to get you inspired:
Addison’s Wonderland loves the Anthropologie look, with its feminine and vintage inspired vibe, including picture frames that take on a handcrafted and collected aesthetic. Instead of paying steep Anthropologie prices for store-bought frames, she decided to take on her first ever stenciling project and save some serious cash. She cut three pieces of MDF wood, stenciled the wood with gray blue paint and our metallic Royal Stencil Cremes, and glued smaller gold frames onto the wood. These three DIY picture frames are the perfect way to show off her children and add to her beautiful décor! What a crafty mom!
Delta Girl Frames found her entrepreneurial spirit with the help of a creative push and our stencils! She takes on custom orders to create gorgeous picture frame galleries perfect for any trendy home with pictures to share. Her company marries “a rustic tone coupled with a Southern Belle twist of patterns”. She believes that a picture frame is like a throw pillow in the way that it’s perfect for adding a pop of color or pattern to any room. And we totally agree!
BONUS: Stenciled picture frames are great for stylish but temporary wall art décor. They make it easy to decorate for a specific occasion or holiday and SUPER easy to swap out for a different look afterwards. The DIY picture frames shown above are decorated with Christmas Stencils by Delta Girl Frames. You can create your own and show off your family’s Christmas photos or give them as a gift!
