Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. The key to successful stencil projects is to use a “dry” brush or roller that has been offloaded to remove the excess paint that can seep under the stencil. Are you ready to try stenciling?

I love this stencil. Wish it came in a larger size.
The quality of this stencil is amazing. It's the only one I trust for a prominent area where mess ups can be easily seen. It took a long time to complete and eventually ti had to cut the stencil to do the partial tiles. It was slightly larger than I measured with the border so I also trimmed the boarder. Love how the fireplace turned out! I used the antique gold over old white chalk paint with a semi matte gloss
Love this stencil like all from this company but stenciling tiles at the fireplace was very tricky with this stencil. The border on the stencil made it tough on such a tight space. I had to do the largest first then slowly cut down the stencil to do the smaller and smaller tiles. It took a bit of planning and patience. I used chalk paint on the tile and sealed it once with acrylic lacquer. I then did the stencil over a few days and the following day did another lacquer The stencil did bleed a little with the layer on top but I would never have been able to stencil over the chalk paint. Overall I'm very happy with it. These stencils are by far the sturdiest and best I've come across and I wouldn't tackle such a hard job worth a lesser stencil. I used the 12 inch stencil and antique gold cream. I used the smaller brush sizes as the large 3" wasted too much paint and not enough control for this project. I used the 2oz jar for this and for another 2 huge walls I did and still have left over
Cottage life diy.... these stencils are so classy. I had a vision, and was able to achieve and then some!!! Love this. Will definitely recommend.
