Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. The key to successful stencil projects is to use a “dry” brush or roller that has been offloaded to remove the excess paint that can seep under the stencil. Are you ready to try stenciling?

I've painted for years, off and on, contracting condominiums, country clubs, salons and private homes. I painted a project years ago for a front cover and 12 page spread in House Beautiful, so I kinda know what I am doing... This one is very easy, it has a hand painted feeling when it is finished. I have made signs for businesses where I made my own custom stencils for those projects, but never have done any walls. So much nicer than wall paper (which I have also done, but not in my home). This has such a custom look to it. It is hard to find words of how satisfied I am with this product. Thank You
Your painting projects sound divine! Our stencils are produced with easy to clean material to make your projects fast and easy - and we definitely agree... Stencils are way better than wallpaper since you can add a custom touch :) Thank you so much for your kind words!
Didn't go on as easy as I hoped. Lines weren't super crisp. But I think that would have been the case no matter what stencil I picked. Loved how it turned out.
We're sorry to hear that, Misty! We suggest the stenciling method of 'off-loading' which is taking off much of the paint on the brush via a paper towel before stenciling. Too much paint causes any stencil to bleed. Let us know if you have any questions :)
