Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. The key to successful stencil projects is to use a “dry” brush or roller that has been offloaded to remove the excess paint that can seep under the stencil. Are you ready to try stenciling?

This was my first time ever using a stencil and I'm so exited how it turned out! The tutorials on the site are helpful and I did use their brushes and cremes. I ended up having plenty left of the 2oz antique gold and despite buying the larger 3 inch brush I used one of the smaller brushes so I wouldn't waste so much. I also just dabbed the brush into different spots before starting my brushing process instead of wiping on a towel. That also seemed to waste a lot. I can't wait to try my other ones out!
