If you’re looking for inspiration, whether for your bedroom makeover or a new decor trend to try, Instagram is a great place to start. We LOVE checking the #royaldesignstudio hashtag and being rewarded with inspiring shots of how our creative customers (like you!) use our stencils. We even regram some of our favorites at @royalstencils! Look below to see some our favorite stencil projects that we’ve found on Instagram recently!
Concrete floors ROCK! Why? Concrete is durable, economical, and easy to clean! Here's an easy DIY fix to turn your concrete floors from merely functional into fabulous... Floor Stencils! @spoonfulofimagination used our Anatolia Tile Stencil here. On the other hand, you can also use this stencil design on an accent wall, like @mylivedinhouse did!
@recreateddesigns was asked to create a piece of furniture that represented Canada. She says, "Canada is overflowing with beautiful, green forests and since I am an outdoor lover, I wanted my piece to represent those breathtaking trees." She used our Timberland Furniture Stencil from our Bonnie Christine Stencil Collection.
Stenciling opens up so many pattern possibilities! @carascolormevintage was so inspired by @deborahwaltzdesigns' stenciled wall that she used the same Mandala Fusion Stencil from #royaldesignstudio and then inverted/flipped the paint colors. How cool and custom is that??
Wall stencils don't have to be bold and bright to still add visual interest and personality to a space. @thevintageroad added soothing texture and depth to her dining room walls with the help of our Brick Wall Stencil and a peaceful palette.
Are your kitchen, patio, or porch floors stenciled and ready for summertime guests? @breathepilatesmiami used our Starry Moroccan Night Stencil on her concrete studio floors. Beautiful and Downward Dog approved!
Can you believe this is a linoleum floor?? @homeonfernhill stenciled her old worn linoleum floor with our Lisboa Tile Stencil... Stenciling saved her from the pain and cost of refinishing. Plus, her bathroom now matches her gorgeous farmhouse style home!
Just take a moment to transport yourself to this modern Mediterranean escape... @dabito painted his concrete patio with our All The Angles Moroccan Stencil... and @thejungalow loves it so much that she shared it too!! This stenciled floor will hold up for years even with the crazy New Orleans weather!
Our Contempo Trellis Stencil is a large graphic design that looks striking on both walls and floors. @imjessicabrigham and @thesustainedwoman were both able to save money because stenciling is a more affordable alternative to hardwood floors and expensive wallpaper.
With just Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® and our Silk Road Suzani Stencil, @methenyweir was able to cover up her worn hardwood floors with a gorgeous allover pattern. She added a border and now it looks like a faux rug around her table!
Instead of laying out an expensive rug, what if you’re feeling extra creative and stencil DIRECTLY onto the floor? @carolinebean7 used our Chunky Cable Knit Stencil along with hand painted tassel details to create a realistic floor rug. Doesn’t it look real??
@ellenblisshome has a beautifully curated home with affordable decor. Her secret? She gets the designer look for a fraction of the cost by opting for the Moorish Trellis Wall Stencil instead of wallpaper.
We spot our Peacock Fancy Furniture Stencil! @suitepieces says, “This fun bar cabinet started out a bland brown castaway. A few easy tricks and now it's a great conversation piece! The base color is French Linen Chalk Paint® with a wash of Paris Gray Chalk Paint®. The door insets are painted Scandinavian Pink Chalk Paint®, stenciled with Paris Gray and washed with pearl plaster to give it a sheen. The top is gel stained in Black from General Finishes. A little distressing and some new knobs round out the details.”
Tiles can be so pretty but can be quite costly to buy and have installed. @casa_lnd used the Moroccan Scallops Wall Stencil to paint a scalloped cement tile look to her bathroom walls. Doesn’t it also look like fish scales?
Check out this DIY idea! @katelynpeil painted our Spanish Tile Stencil Set directly onto her glass windows and door so that the design acts as a privacy screen. Stenciled glass is so much prettier than hanging a curtain, plus it still lets in the light!
A contemporary take on Indian inspired interiors include crisp white and gray décor, like this boho modern bedroom at @foxfiremountainhouse. It combines a soft color scheme as well as a delicate Bombay Paisley Wall Art Stencil to create a relaxing global chic atmosphere.
@christina_a_jones continueously uses our wall stencils for her clients’ interior design projects. She says, “Royal Design Studio never disappoints and their variety and quality of stencils are amazing!” Above, she used our Mansion House Grille Trellis Wall Stencil to add some personality to an otherwise uninspiring health clinic.
@interiorstoinspire is making metallic magic on this elegant accent wall! Our African Plumes Wall Stencil is perfect for painting each row a different color to create a retro or modern interior. And the chandelier finishes it off beautifully.
