Pretty entryway!

There is definitely a learning curve, and thankfully the pattern is very forgiving, but I love it in my entryway and have gotten so many compliments! It was an awkward space and ended up being a fun way to blend the entryway and the stairs. (Please excuse the baby’s bum in the photo!)

Thank you Jen! Yes it can be challenging to stencil those small, cut up wall areas but you really did a great job and it looks fabulous. Thank you for the review and for sharing your stencil project :)

Challenging, but worth it!

What I want to offer is advice... If you love this, do it! But do not use as much paint as you want to, even when you're hours in and it seems like that will be faster. It's not!

I'm glad I chose this, even if it was difficult round the corners and door in my teeny powder room.

That is great stenciling advice Jessica!! Thank you for sharing your wall stencil project photo and review. You did an amazing job with those corners :)

Big impact!

We are very happy with the results. Completing the top and sides took more effort than the big sections but we completed the majority of it in a couple hours! This is a picture before we figured out the sides/corners. I did not find a good tutorial for edges and corners. I would prefer that the pattern come closer to the edge so there is less gap.

Thanks for posting your review and photos Allyson! It looks great. We do have a detailed tutorial on how to stencil corners, etc on our How to Stencil Blog in the Stencil Basics section if you want to go back and check that out. Stenciling in corners and edges is always a challenge-especially with a larger scale stencil pattern like this-but it's definitely doable. Another option (now that you have finished the large wall area) is to simply cut the stencil to fit easily in the corner. It's another option at least

What a beautiful design! I have used it on 2 pieces of furniture so far & they were a huge hit! Cant wait to try another stencil!

Your furniture stenciling looks AMAZING! We lover the clever way you used the large wall stencil in these isolated spaces. So chic!

Tiny bathroom and a little flair

My bathroom is approximately 5' x 7', in an old house at the New Jersey shore. I wanted to add a flair to the sloping ceiling and knew that paper wasn't a good idea as it can peel after some steamy showers, so i chose the Floral Fireworks Allover Wall Stencil and got to work.

I am so happy with the results! Although the original plan was to stencil the entire ceiling, i soon realized that gravity was eventually going to win, even though I used temporary spray adhesive to hold the stencil in place with each application.

The suggested technique of using a paint roller was what I needed - there was no opportunity to dilly-dally in getting that paint applied. I rolled the paint, off-rolled the excess and in a few quick swipes had the paint where I needed it.

The stencil was a perfect amount of a pattern. I have one more task to do: stencil a white piece of fabric and turn it into a shower curtain.

Very happy with the end product.

Thank you for your wonderful, detailed stencil review and sending a photo of your stenciled ceiling. It looks amazing and we hope you enjoy it for many years to come :)
