Our stencils are laser cut in our San Diego, California, USA studio from durable 10mil Mylar plastic sheets. With minimal care, stencils can be used repeatedly for many different projects and on multiple surfaces. Stenciling is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to customize and update any surface in your house with paint, including walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and fabric. Stenciling is generally done using either stencil brushes or stencil rollers. You can stencil with craft acrylic paints, latex wall paint, or our specially designed Royal Stencil Creme paints. I have never stenciled before. I used a tacky spray and followed the directions. I was going for a subtle look and happily achieved my goal. After doing the lower walls, I ordered another stencil to highlight around the ceiling light.
What a beautiful design! I used this on the accent wall at the entrance of my new house. I have used stencils before, and this company includes an extra piece between the siling and the wall, so I don't need to struggle to fold big stencils to make them look complete. That was a pleasant surprise, and the stencil was easy to work with. I have many compliments from friends and families.
The bedroom came out outstanding! I used Silver Taupe luster stone as a base and Crushed pearl for the stencil. Both Layers were distressed in it's applications.
The stencil is very detailed with the pattern of the flowers. The quality of the stencil is excellent and easy to use on a wall. I used the stencil with plaster to make a slight embossed look that I then went over with paint to make the pattern look like crewel embroidery on a linen faux painted wall. I love the design and the ease using the stencil with different art mediums.
