The best way to see how something works is through what we call a “transformation test” or "before & after". This is so true regarding decorating makeovers (HGTV, anyone??). The biggest makeover that we see in our favorite decorators’ and designers’ homes is when they use Royal Design Studio Stencils and paint on their walls, floors, or furniture. A transformation can be that crazy with just stencils and paint? No way! That’s what we thought too. Need to see to believe? Check out these Before & After’s that WON big time and walked away with a beautiful stencil project AND a $50 stencil shopping spree!
“I purchased the Skylar Lace Floral Stencil from Royal Design Studio after my husband vetoed my wallpaper idea for our nursery. I was also able to be very picky about my green color which was great! I stenciled the entire top half of the room 7 months pregnant with 4 kids at home so it shouldn't be intimidating to other people. :) My advice is splurge on the big 3” Royal Stencil Brush - game changer! I loved how it came out - my current favorite room in the house!” - Allie Lampe
“I had a vision for this room when we bought our new house. Bold. Classic. Inviting. So when I told my husband I wanted to PAINT the tile floor - he was a little hesitant to say the least! But the after stenciling the floor with the Anatolia Tile Stencil - SO worth it! We get compliments every time someone sets foot in the room and the can NOT believe it was painted!!” - Alyson Berry
“We love screened in porch and use it a lot!! It was super easy to do. We used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg and Pure White. Since this in an outdoor area we didn’t even seal it. And it was easy peasy! I feel like we’ve added a whole new room to our house!! I love the quality of the stencil. So sturdy and easy to clean! The Lisboa Tile Stencil was perfect for this project!” - Cindy Davis
“I would like to proudly present my latest project: my stenciled hallway floor. The boring grey floor tiles now look pretty amazing. Thanks to the beautiful Anatolia Tile Stencil from Royal Design Studio. I used 3 layers of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the base coat. The 3rd layer a mix of 1 part paint and 1 part floor varnish for tiles. This to seal the Chalk Paint and to make sure that after the varnish layer, it would start running. For the stencil, I mixed 1 part Chalk Paint with 1 part varnish the same way. I can honestly say it is really worth all the effort.” - Cindy Kleij
“I purchased my home 6 years ago and slowly I’ve been updating different spaces. My mom introduced me to Royal Design Studio Stencils and I couldn’t believe how good they looked! I quickly picked out my stencil and started dreaming up new projects. My house lacked curb appeal so my latest project was the front of my house and the yard. I added new siding, windows, a Dutch door and the Pinwheels Tile Stencil was the perfect addition to my front porch. I have received so many compliments on the pattern and most people are surprised they aren’t tile. Love Royal Design Studio Stencils!” - Jessica Mitchell
“Thank you, Royal Design Studio, for your amazing stencil!!! It gave my backyard all the vibes! The Bird’s Eye Ikat Tile Stencil is amazing!” - Katia Vaquerano

I used Sherwin Williams paints in Frosty White in a flat finish and Extra White in a satin finish. The Spanish Lace Scallop Wall Stencil adds subtle femininity and we could not be more pleased. This wall stencil pattern will grow with her as she turns into a young lady.” - Tai Edwards

“This corner cabinet was an inheritance piece for my husband from his Swedish great uncle. The shape of the piece is very traditional; however most of these corner cabinets are painted in a traditional Swedish style. I am from Zimbabwe, and so I chose the Elsabet Trellis Furniture Stencil which is inspired by the geometric tribal patterns of Africa, to bring together our two cultures into this one piece. The blue that I chose is a very traditional color in Sweden.” - Nicola Holden
“I used the Protective Eyes Wall Stencil for my living room wall. I am so amazed by the great quality of the wall stencil and by how easy it was to use. I am in love with the results.” - Brandi Nicole
