Just because you have children doesn’t mean you have to give up sophisticated design. If truth be told, your little ones give you more reason to show off your personality! If you don’t believe us, then check out the stylishly stenciled walls of Haneen’s Haven. Haneen’s creative wheels are always turning, and her home has become her creative outlet while she raises her children. While she is spending her days stepping on Legos and dealing with sass, she is mixing color and pattern to create a dynamic and comforting space that she calls home. She is naturally drawn to color and loves mixing pattern, texture, and old with new to create a truly eclectic and livable space. To create the space that shows off her personality and comforts her family, she frequently turns to Royal Design Studio for the latest design trends and wall stencils. Royal Design Studio for the latest design trends and wall stencils. So, we are happy to turn the spotlight now on HER!
Haneen’s living room was tired, boring, and needed revamping. She has always dreamed of visiting Morocco and seeing the inspiring textiles and patterns there. When it came time to redo the space, she immediately turned to our Moroccan Stencil Collection to create the global chic vibe she was daydreaming of. She paired our Chez Sheik Moroccan Wall Stencil with chocolate brown colors, a gallery of gold mirrors and frames, and a colorful herringbone rug to transport her family to an exotic oasis. She loves sharing her stylish living room on her Instagram!
Gray is here to stay as a trendy yet classic neutral. It’s also a calming color that rests the eyes, so it’s perfect for the bedroom. Haneen brought this dreamy color into her master bedroom with stenciled walls, poster bed, rug, and designer furniture. The Contempo Trellis Stenciled accent wall breaks up the monochromatic color scheme in a subdued and chic way. This contemporary bedroom makeover was also shared by Home Goods’ Instagram account! They obviously recognize good taste when they see it.
Haneen says, “After a day with the kids- filled with sticky messes, scattered toys, and a whole lot of whining, this bedroom says, ‘Hey! You’re an adult! Come, put your feet up!’”
A tween’s room can be so much fun to decorate-especially when you have a creative mind and aren’t afraid to use it! Haneen’s daughter wanted something bold, so she gave it to her! She broke up the bright teal walls with our Dot Dot Dot Polka Dot Wall Stencil. We are drooling over the stenciled accent wall, bedding, and large monogram in cotton candy colors! This tween girl’s bedroom is eye candy!
Haneen is drawn to stenciling because she is a lover of pattern (as are we!). Stencils are a great way to layer pattern in a room in a unique way and create a bold statement. In this shared girls’ room, our Skylar’s Lace Floral Wall Stencil is painted in sunny yellow on an accent wall, while our Chevron Stencil is painted in bright pink on the beds. Haneen loves how the patterns play off each other, creating a fun space that mirrors the bright personalities of her daughters. It’s fun to mix unexpected patterns and colors!
