“We recently bought our home and the previous owner left this furniture in the garage so I decided to save it! I used the Moroccan Tile Stencils Set, gold leaf, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, and dark wax and followed the tutorial Chalk Paint & Boho Style Tile Furniture Stencil Tutorial. The other pic is my green stenciled with the Bloomers Wall Stencils Set." - Julieta Medina

“This is my husband stenciling the Arabesque Ceiling Medallion Stencil using the Copper Kettle Stencil Crème and Start to Stencil Kit. My husband says he loves your stencil crème because it doesn’t bleed under the stencil and after trying it, he no longer wants to stencil with regular wall paint. I am a boudoir photographer and we painted the walls of the bedroom studio with the Floral Cascade Damask Wall Stencil, Start to Stencil Kit, and Smoked Oyster Stencil Crème." - Irene Abdou Photography

“This was my first attempt at stenciling and I’m very pleased with the result. I was looking for something to add a bit of interest to the entry and this certainly worked. I used a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® colors and the Otomi Folk Art Wall Stencil. Several people thought it was wallpaper when they first saw it and were shocked when I told them it was a stencil. Even with obstacles like the ceiling height, air duct, and doorbell, it turned out remarkably well. I was very happy with the quality of your stencils and brushes!" - Tracey Huhndorf

“I wanted to create a pop on this piece. I used the Sari Indian Border Stencils on the hutch in teal blue and Unicorn Spit Paint. I finished the vanity in a deep black and used the Mansion Grille Trellis Furniture Stencil with white and black shading to get the 3D illusion." - Mary Ann Hopkins

“My decorating style is eclectic bohemian, and with my basic beige sofa, I knew I wanted to bring both pattern, texture, and color into my living room. I decided to use the Moroccan Geometry Wall Stencil to add some ‘global flair’ behind my sofa and tie in the geometric patterns in my vintage Persian carpet. I added a border around the stencil to contain the pattern and transition back to the bare walls. Stenciling was the perfect solution to solve all of my problems; it even made the ceiling look higher!” - Alessandra Amato

“The problem was our brown vinyl floor that didn’t match our home. The cost of wood was way out of our budget. We decided to paint over the vinyl and use the Anatolia Tile Stencil and the almost same color palette that was used in the How to Stencil a Concrete Floor Tutorial. Enjoy! Because we sure do.” - Alessandra and Brett Lewis

“I am so happy with the Tribal Wall Stencil! My fiancé and I live in his grandmother’s home and have been slowly renovating. I applied a frosted glass spray paint to the stencil on the shower door window. The stencil works really great this way and is much faster to do when doing larger designs. I would definitely use your stencils again!" - Terra Britt

“I have been eyeing Royal Design Studio Stencils for a while because I love the look of wallpaper but no the hassle, so I finally ordered one after moving into my new home. I needed some interest on my living room walls and I am amazed with the fabulous results. The Snowflake Lace Wall Stencil really elevate a room that was otherwise flat. I wore my 6 month old baby the entire project and it took me about 2 half days to totally finish, so needless to say it was easy! I am thrilled with the results. I want all the stencils now!!" - Holly DeSantis

“I’m a first time stenciller and I wanted to clean up and give new life to my son’s ‘tall boy’ drawers in our guest room. I came across Royal Stencil Studio’s How to Stencil tutorials and decided I wanted to give it a go with the Scrollallover Furniture Stencil. To the tunes of Robbie Williams, I sanded the top and stained it a walnut color. I used Duck Egg Blue and Old White Chalk Paint® to stencil the left hand sides of the drawers. Once that side was stenciled, I cleaned the stencil and reversed it to paint the right side. Once dry, I gave it 2 coats of varnish which gave the drawers a vintage look. This was a great project and I'm really pleased with the results. I transformed a sturdy, but tired, tall boy into a glam little piece that I stencilled myself!" - Michele Bouldin

“I found these 6 panels on the street outside a construction site. Research brought me to rabbit hide gesso as a base but I could not afford marble powder for the recipe. Instead, I substituted it with pulverized lime. The result was not silky smooth and it instead looks like weathered stucco. Layers and layers of a casein glaze gave it a striated background with lots of depth. The Phoebe’s Tulip Wall Stencil looks casual and impromptu like graffiti. The stencil was easy to use and easy to keep clean and durable.” - Alexander Watson

Runner Ups

This is our dining room but we hated the floors. They were those nylon stick-on tiles over deck wood. We wanted an inexpensive option for flooring, so we decided to use porch paint and the Starry Moroccan Night Stencil to spiff it up! After caulking, we used 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of white paint, and then a charcoal layer with the stencil. We finished it off with a charcoal border and Polyacrylic sealant. We are so happy with the change!" - Tawni DeYoung

“In addition to stenciling the textured walls with the French Bee Trellis Wall Stencil, I painted the ceramic tile in Graphite Chalk Paint® and used Smoked Oyster Stencil Crème for the grout.” - Jami Skolnik Oscherwitz

Floral Cascade Damask Wall Stencil - Kellie's Creations

“After some hunting around on Pinterest, I decided to use the Tribal Batik Furniture Stencil to transform my grandmother’s old dresser and channel my husband’s Indonesian heritage. Now the piece looks brand new!” - Jessica Lopez

“I LOVED the final product so much that I'm already lining up more stencil projects galore throughout the house! It instantly turned the room from drab to decadent and became the inspiration for the rest of the renovation! I used a Pure White Chalk Paint® for the stencil over a base coat of Benjamin Moore in Pebble Beach. End result? Huge success! The Esperanza Lace Tile Stencil looks like an enormous lace doily all over the wall! Everyone thinks it is wallpaper until they literally touch the wall. It's like having an entire wall of art and I'm so super proud of it!  I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.” - Anakela Washington

“We just purchased a new townhome. The walls were painted a light neutral gray and the bedroom didn’t have any personality and interest. Painting the feature wall still wasn’t enough… until I found the Ribbon Lattice Wall Stencil and I loved the final result. I have never stenciled before and wallpaper is so expensive, so I jumped in and certainly love the outcome! An easy project for beginners too.” - Barb Biggs

Hollywood Squares Wall Stencil - Kathy Haynes

“I love to paint old furniture in my free time. I LOVE Royal Design Studio Stencils and this is my favorite piece which I sold. I used Graphite and Provence Chalk Paint® and the Chez Sheik Moroccan Furniture Stencil." - Revival Hand Painted Furniture

“I used the Ribbon Lattice Wall Stencil on a feature wall in the bathroom and what a difference! Love using the stencil. The directions were very simple and the actual stenciling was easy.” - Phyllis Hunter

“The French Love Letters Furniture Stencil and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® were a joy to use and I absolutely love the outcome.” - Bernadette Cowan

“This is a gold leaf project I just completed using the Moorish Trellis Wall Stencil. The gold leaf process is intense but the stencil was an awesome tool to have.” - Cicelee Erin Stokes

“I used the beautiful Flourish Allover Stencil on these small tables that someone had put outside. I am really happy with the results and I love Royal Design Studio Stencils.” - Maureen McCarthy
